Privacy policy
This statement explains how HR Hunold (MedPool) processes personal data in the course of its staffing services, in accordance with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP).
This is a translation for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version of this text is the legally binding one.

Which data we process
In the course of our staffing services we process in particular:
- Personal details: first name, surname, email address
- Professional details: specialty, professional category (doctor, nursing professional, life sciences staff), availability
- Application documents: curriculum vitae (CV)
- Proof of authorisation: MEBEKO recognition (doctors) or Swiss Red Cross recognition (nursing professionals)
- Information about clinics and open vacancies
Application documents and proof of authorisation may allow conclusions to be drawn about professional suitability and qualifications. We treat this information with particular care and restrict access to authorised staff.
Purpose of processing
We process this data in order to match candidates with suitable vacancies at clinics in Switzerland, to notify them of suitable assignments and to handle the placement process. Clinic names and addresses are disclosed to candidates only after they have accepted; beforehand, only the region (German-speaking Switzerland, French-speaking Switzerland or Ticino) is stated. Where there is a match, the clinic concerned can view the candidate's dossier (name, contact details, profile, CV and proof of authorisation) in the clinic portal once it has confirmed our terms and conditions; this access is logged. The clinic may use the information only for that particular placement.
Processing by third parties
We use the following processors:
- Neon (Databricks Inc.) – hosting of our database. Server location: Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
- Vercel Inc. – hosting of the application and storage of uploaded documents (CV, proof of authorisation) via the “Vercel Blob” service. These documents are currently stored on servers in the USA. The transfer to this third country is based on Vercel's standard contractual clauses. We are examining a move of this storage to the EU/Switzerland.
- Bluewin/Swisscom – sending of automated notification emails (Switzerland).
Retention period
We retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the staffing services, or until the person concerned requests deletion. The data is then deleted or anonymised, unless a statutory retention obligation applies.
Cookies
This website uses a technically necessary session cookie for signing in, as well as a cookie that remembers the language you have chosen. No tracking and no analysis of usage behaviour takes place.
Your rights
You have the right to information about the personal data we process, as well as the right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, within the scope of applicable law. Please address such requests to info@medpool.ch.
In the event of complaints you may also turn to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) as the supervisory authority.
